Capacity Planning in Project Management
In the project management tool KLUSA, the capacity planning of employees or skills (e.g. developers, consultants ...) is done in the module "Resources" in the relevant resource pools.
Here the resource pool manager has the choice to either set the capacities for employees or skills manually or to determine them automatically. As part of project management, the project manager can always display the utilization of his resource requests in a table ("resource availability") or graphically ("resource utilization chart"), thus always keeping track of whether a resource has been overbooked and if measures need to be taken.
The resource pool manager has access to the same views and can specifically target overbooked employees in their pool, for example, rejecting, sharing, or moving resource requests to other pools. KLUSA also offers the project manager an automatic function to send all changes to their resource requests by e-mail to them.
