Capacity Planning Personnel
Resource planning is important in project management to show overload or free capacities. A prerequisite for the determination of the workload of individual team members is substantiated data about the capacity of the individual employees.
In the web application KLUSA, the capacity planning of employees can be done in two ways:
On the one hand, KLUSA offers the functionality to automatically calculate the employee capacity for each resource pool based on the working time models. These can be created individually in the module "Administration" and assigned to the corresponding employees. In this variant, the vacation planning can be included. Vacation automatically reduces the capacity of a pool member for the period entered. On the other hand, with the appropriate setting in the module "Administration" and the resource pool, it is also possible to calculate the pool member capacity manually. The resource pool manager has the option to enter a corresponding number of person days per month for the pool member. Once the capacity is determined, resource utilization charts provide both the project manager and the resource pool manager with a clear comparison of resource requests and the corresponding employee capacity. There is nothing standing in the way of an efficient capacity planning of the employees.
