GANTT Chart Project Management
The GANTT chart is the most common graphical representation in project management to show the chronological relationship between work packages and milestones.
In KLUSA, the work packages and milestones are available in list form, and are plotted on an appropriate timeline. Each work package is represented by a bar. The position and length of the bar reflects the start date, duration, and end date of the work package. The milestones, symbolized by diamonds, have no time dimension and usually mark the achievement of important work progress within the project.
The GANTT chart is indispensable for a neat visualization of dependencies within a project to allow for a sound scheduling and an efficient project management. The project management tool KLUSA supports the scheduling through additional functionalities, such as e-mail notifications and links to resource, risk, and document management.
