Gantt Project Management
The GANTT chart is often used to graphically depict the chronological dependencies between milestones and work packages.
The data lists available on work packages and milestones are plotted on an appropriate time axis. Bars represent work packages and diamonds represent milestones. The length and position of the bar reflect the start date, duration, and end date. Milestones, on the other hand, have no temporal dimension and usually mark the achievement of important sub-ordinate targets in a project.
Due to the clear visualization of the dependencies in the project, the GANTT diagram is indispensable for an efficient scheduling and a successful project management. In KLUSA, the scheduling is supplemented by additional functionalities, such as e-mail notifications and links to resources, risks, and document management.
