The multi-project management tool KLUSA offers extensive project planning options as well as a comprehensive and well-laid out module for resource management. The resource manager of a pool can administrate their resources in that module.
Their activities are supported by clear charts and tables for utilization and availability analyses. On this basis, the resource manager can make their decision about a requested resource and either book, reject, or apply a variety of other operational options: For example, resource requests for a work package can be split in time and then further edited in various ways. Efforts can be distributed to different resources within a pool using a dialog.
Through years of collaboration with our customers, we have created a stable and versatile resource management tool. Complemented by a sophisticated role and rights concept, tailored authorizations can be assigned to resource managers. Incidentally, the project manager is free to decide in detail how they design their requests. So they can either apply for a specific qualification or directly for a person. KLUSA supports that workflow: When a new request is made to a pool, the respective resource manager is informed immediately by mail. This also applies in the reverse case: KLUSA informs the project manager as soon as the resource manager has made a decision regarding their resource requests.
