Resource Planning
Resource planning is one of the focal points of the project management tool KLUSA. The process has been developed and adapted over many years in close cooperation with our customers:
For work packages created in the GANTT-Chart the project manager can request resources. These must initially contain at least the required qualification (for example, consultants, developers, etc.), a resource pool, and the required effort in person days. Once the request is set from status entered to requested, approval or rejection is up to the resource pool manager. In doing so, they can perform several operations in a comprehensive table:
They can allocate expenses to several employees, forward the request to another pool which offers the same qualification, or split the request and approve it separately.
KLUSA offers a lot more functionality, and thus great flexibility in resource planning. Take a look at our corresponding datasheet.
From an analytical point of view, KLUSA can provide utilization diagrams and overview tables with resource groupings and employee availabilities and can offer both the project manager and the manager of a resource pool either a comprehensive overview or a detailed view of the individual resources.
